We have tried multiple chinese takeout places around and this is the one we keep going back to. Every time we try a different place, we end up wondering why we didn't just go with Hong Kong Wok. The fried rice is the main reason we love it so much. They put more effort into it than other takeout places and as a result, it tastes so much better. The egg rolls are delicious as well. My only complaint is that if you don't get a meat option that's breaded, both the naked chicken and beef have an off putting texture. If I'm in the mood for chinese but don't want breaded meat I'll get the garlic pork or the combination with lo mein. The oddly textured meat is the reason I give Hong Kong Wok 4 stars instead of 5.

I usually buy food here and have no problem but one time i went and ordered chow mein and they gave me some cabbage stuff, but whenever i oder chow mein at any Chinese restaurants its usually stir fry noodles.. So when i went back to hong kong wok to get it change, i was really polite about it and the person helping me ( which i think is the owner) was extremely rude about it , and one thing i dnt tolarate from business is rudeness so i will NEVER go back again

Menu and ambiance as generic as can be. Friendly counter folk. Perfectly adequate of its kind.

Love this food!! Best around WPB cheap or Expensive. More authentic than the surrounding Chinese restaurants. I love their bean sprouts in their fried rice. It makes their rice stand out from the surrounding Chinese restaurants.

This is our go-to place for Chinese food. We almost always order ahead and pick-up, so I can't speak about the delivery. My "gauge" for Chinese take-out is always their sauce for dumplings - and this store has it right! My kids always get sweet & sour chicken, beef lo mein, and dumplings - and they never disappoint. My husband and I have tried nearly everything else on the menu, and have yet to try something that isn't up to par.

Typical lousy Chinese food. We ordered dinner for 5 last night and it cost $90. Our shrimp dish had 4 shrimp and our scallop order had 3 scallops. Everything was flavorless.

This restaurant is about the best take-out Chinese restaurant in the west palm beach area. The lunch combos provide ample portions for the price charged. I also like that for a dollar more I can get Brown rice in my pork fried rice. Everyone that works there is nice and friendly. I never order ahead but my wait times for my food are always under 10 minutes. Overall very good.

Not bad. Made my stomach hurt, but only because I ate so much. Sesame chicken is terrible, but egg rolls, fried rice, and broccoli beef are pretty good for cheap restaurant. It's not Bobby flay, but decent so far.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
